Another auction has taken place that has grabbed our attention in the Seventy Seven Diamonds office. Unlike the auction we mentioned last week that took place in London, this auction took place in New York. However, like the London auction, it featured a fancy blue coloured diamond!
The 3.50ct VS1 Fancy Blue colour diamond sold for just over £1 million at the auction showing it nothing to be feeling blue about.
Set in an art deco ring with side white diamond baguettes, the ring is bang on trend for the 1920s style that is currently having a reinvention because of the Hollywood film The Great Gatsby.
